Required Skills & Experience for Home Infusion Therapy

Proficient in PIV, Port-a-Cath, and central line access (maintaining sterile field when needed).

Assess, monitor, and educate patients before, during, and after infusion. 

Prepare, reconstitute, inspect, and administer medications per orders. 

Set up and program infusion pumps, monitor vitals, and adjust titration as needed. 

Complete and submit electronic records with patient signatures. 

Active RN license (ADN/BSN preferred), BLS/ACLS certified. 

Minimum 1 year in a specialty requiring venous access. 

Valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle, and current auto insurance. 

Strong critical thinking, communication, and independent work abilities.
